Copy content and structure between projects
Reported by og | May 6th, 2011 @ 12:07 AM | in 0.9
Whenever we init a new project, its blank like a bare bottom. As users mostly want to use a similar structure within the new project, it would save lots of time, if the user could choose to carry over single pages/contents or the whole structure of the current project.
So we should think about it how to achive this or how we gone make this possible.

At present it seems a good idea to show a site tree of the existing project(s) on the project_add page. The page links are selectable by checkboxes to gradually in/exclude pages/content which should be copied to the new project.
Because we would run in trouble rebuilding the navigation structure if the user spares out parent nodes a.s.o., we should give a option to copy the whole thing or "single pages". While copying the whole structure is trivial,- if "single pages" is selected, the related navigations which the pages are assigned to are copied also, but NOT the node nestings.

As we have no good idea what to do with file based handling (e.g. global files etc.) we put it off for the time being.
